Sunday šŸ† Weekly Wins Recap | Jan 19- Jan 25
How was your week!? Last full week of January already. Still doesn’t feel like it’s 2026 to me. Been pretty busy but nothing too exciting from me this week really. Caoimhe landed back the other day and got the first half of her Assos kit (as well as everything else). Some amount of stuff as you can see from the photo. I was trying to add it up but I’d say the total valuation of everything in that photo isn’t too far off 40k (they don’t get to keep the bike but they keep everything else at the end of the year). New bike isn’t meant to be on show you yet as it’s the new unreleased frame - nothing too obvious in terms of updates from what I can see. But that’s the reason for scribbling it out 🤣 It’s the bike that they are all riding and racing already but don’t want her getting in trouble in case. It’s a bit stupid to me that they’ve been given the 2027 model but cannondale haven’t announced it yet. Makes it so underwhelming to me when they do actually decide to announce it. But sure look. Hope you had a good week! Matthew

Welcome to NOT DONE YET (Start Here)
Great to have you here. This community is built for riders who believe their best chapter on the bike is still ahead. Whether you want to get fitter, faster, leaner, stronger or simply fall back in love with cycling, you’re in the right place. Before we get rolling, let’s get to know each other. Drop a quick intro under the "introduce yourself tab" in "communities" • Who are you • Where you’re riding from • Your cycling goals • And most importantly… a pic of your bike This is a community of support, accountability and shared passion. The more we show up, the more powerful this space becomes. Looking forward to meeting you all and helping you write the next chapter in your cycling story. Let’s get after it. You’re not done yet.

Monday’s Q and A
Any questions for Monday? Reminder to text me for 1 on 1 calls if you haven’t seen it advertised anywhere! Opening it up to chat once a month. Also if anybody is trying to lose weight. Try and not run a deficit during recovery weeks. It defeats the purpose of recovering and it becomes a lot harder when you are training less and have to reduce the food intake on top of that. I was always more inclined to want to eat more anyways as I’d have more time on my hands during recovery weeks - so mentally that makes it even harder again. If you’ve got tonnes of weight to lose then it’s not as big of an issue. But it’s definitely not a bad idea to break even every now and then. Seems to make weight loss easier overall too in the medium to long term.
Don’t miss twice
I’m rehabing an injury this week and catching up on some reading. I was reading Atomic Habits and this line stuck with me especially after reading some community members were talking about missing a session last week. ā€œThe first mistake is never the one that ruins you. It is the spiral of repeated mistakes that follows. Missing once is an accident. Missing twice is the start of a new habit.ā€ My reading is, do anything to avoid missing twice Think about that for us. You miss Tuesday’s session because work later than planned. That’s an accident, that’s part of being a working athlete But when you also skip Wednesday, that’s the start of a new habit: not riding. The rule is: miss once if you must, but don’t miss twice. Get back on the bike, even if it’s just 20 easy minutes on the turbo. That’s how you protect momentum and keep your identity as a rider intact.
