Coaching Chat
Morning everybody. I’ve noticed a few things come up over the last few days and I said that I may as well do a quick post about it. Over the last two weeks we have been offering 1 on 1 calls with myself. Please message me and we will arrange a date and time. I will not be chasing people up on this if I don’t hear from you. I will send you a zoom link closer to the time. Feedback. We are still working this out. What I have always done personally is I’d have a different approach with all of my athletes - some people need a kick up the arse, some people need their hand held, some people need encouragement, some people need complete space, some people need checks every so often and so on. There’s a massive variety in personalities and approaches needed based on the individual. Right now I really don’t know where the right approach is with a lot of you guys - this just takes time to develop and we will figure it out over the coming months and hopefully years. This certainly isn’t a quick process so please communicate something if you are unhappy with the way we are doing it for the time being. If I don’t hear from you then I assume that everything is 100% - I can’t live my life in fear worrying that somebody could be in grave danger or something if they miss a session every so often 😆 I still am learning about people’s uploading schedule too - some people bulk upload workouts so yeah everybody is different and I am still sussing that out. I think it would be good if you could send me a weekly update on how training has been and if you are happy/unhappy about x y and z so we can adjust things for the following week. So over the weekend this could be a good thing to do. We can text over and back as needed or do a quick call if that’s easier to sort the situation. A big issue I’m having is that most of the time people complete their workouts as planned and it’s all been okay - they may leave loads of comments in TrainingPeaks but because everything has gone fine there is nothing for me to remember and I basically forget that I ever looked at your training. It’s much easier to remember the negative comments. But please communicate any issues to me directly as I don’t have the IQ to remember every single comment that I see these days (I know IQ shouldn’t change but I feel like mine has fallen off a cliff since I crashed 😅). Hope that makes sense anyways.

Welcome to NOT DONE YET (Start Here)
Great to have you here. This community is built for riders who believe their best chapter on the bike is still ahead. Whether you want to get fitter, faster, leaner, stronger or simply fall back in love with cycling, you’re in the right place. Before we get rolling, let’s get to know each other. Drop a quick intro under the "introduce yourself tab" in "communities" • Who are you • Where you’re riding from • Your cycling goals • And most importantly… a pic of your bike This is a community of support, accountability and shared passion. The more we show up, the more powerful this space becomes. Looking forward to meeting you all and helping you write the next chapter in your cycling story. Let’s get after it. You’re not done yet.

Daily Accountability :-)
Did you train today? My usual Friday rest day today in preparation from some long miles over the weekend.
Brian Johnson, mountain bike/gravel racer
Hey everyone, glad to be here. I’ve been racing for about 15 years, mostly mountain bike and gravel, and I’m based in Omaha, Nebraska. I’ve lined up at a lot of the bigger events over the years, including Gravel Worlds, Leadville, BT Epic, Life Time Oz 50, Lutsen 99er, Breck Epic, and plenty more. As a working dad, I’m still pretty locked in on training, nutrition, and bike setup. I also coach a group of high school riders who are turning into some very fast mountain bike racers, and I’ve really enjoyed watching their progression. Looking forward to being part of the community, learning from everyone here, and hopefully contributing where I can. We’re all figuring this out together.
