Am I wasting my time?

Hi everyone this is a bmu from a 2022 Nissan env200 (out of warranty due to mileage) one of the cell monitoring circuits has gone down so the vehicle will not start and on live data cells 85-96 show 65355mv which is obviously impossible and a default value. A new one is £1600+vat and 8 weeks from Japan. PCB's are not my strongest point and I was wondering if anyone would know if I am wasting my time trying to get it repaired or if anyone has any recommendations? Thanks
