After decades of working hard, caring for family members and/or raising children, achieving many goals, then entering retirement expecting peace and freedom, but you start to think, “What now?"
I know that feeling well.
I realized I was not done learning, creating, or contributing. I wanted more — renewal, reinvention, connection, and purpose.
Discovering the world of online entrepreneurship was a definite possibility by using my experience, purpose, and independence together to create something new and different. Sharing this with other retired women who are looking for a similar path would be rewarding.
Searching for connection, I joined a Garden Club. I jumped in head first, became a cochair, made forever friends, and discovered I am still capable. I truly felt good to take charge and help contribute to the success of an organization. If I can do that, I can definitely run an online business.
