Building your own house can be one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences there is. One that you can reap the rewards of for many years after. It can also quickly become a nightmare if you don't navigate the many hurdles that it can throw your way. Taking on a big project on your own can make you fell just that; on your own. It doesn't have to be this way by leveraging the knowledge and past experiences of a community of Owner Builders.
I'm Cadeyrn Neville and for the last 14 years I've actually been a professional rugby player in Australia and overseas. I've also been studying Construction Management for about 7 years, having previously been in commercial air conditioning before going full time with rugby. I have some big plans in this space and I am working on some things that could really change the way we all do our projects. A big part of that is creating a community that anyone can learn from and give back to. Looking forward to what we can share and achieve together.
