Just boarded the Nomad Cruise. 🚢 For those who don’t know, it’s basically a cruise ship full of digital nomads, freelancers, and entrepreneurs from all over the world. So instead of just lying by the pool, you’ve got talks, workshops, coworking, and a lot of business and life conversations. 😄 On day 1 I already made new friends before even getting on the ship. 😁 It’s crazy how fast you feel part of the community. Today I had the chance to join one of the Goosify / Skool meetups and finally meet other real humans behind the screens. And honestly… it gave me such a boost. 🤩 Hearing everyone’s stories, seeing how different communities are being built, and meeting some of the people behind Skool in real life was incredibly inspiring. It reminded me why community-building is so powerful and why this platform is so special. 🙌 Funny timing too, because this week I made a big decision: I decided to let go of one of my biggest clients after 2.5 years so that in 2026 I can fully commit to building my own Skool community and vision. 😍 It’s exciting and a bit scary but the event just confirmed that I’m on the right path. 😊 Huge thank you to Goose and the team for creating these moments offline, not just online. I’m super excited to share what I’ve been up to: I just hosted a 2-day workshop on Social Media Management as part of Nomad Experience: a one-month immersive program in Shimoda designed for people who want to dive into remote work, try different online roles, and experience nomad life in Japan. Nomad Experience gives you the chance to explore 10 different types of online work, from social media to video editing, digital marketing and more. 🙌 It’s set in Shimoda: a beautiful, small-town coastal location in Japan where you can live, work, and connect with a global community while surrounded by nature and local culture. My workshop was all about giving them practical ways to manage content, grow engagement and streamline workflows. The kind of skills you can use whether you’re freelancing, running a brand, or building your remote business. If you’re just starting to earn online, here’s something worth knowing early on: Where your business is registered can decide how much tax you pay, and for some people (non-US citizens), that number can legally be 0 %. Most freelancers and remote workers don’t find out until years later that they’ve been paying taxes they didn’t have to.
