Please be careful with posts, messages, and emails from anyone calling themselves Skool Technical Support or Tech Support. A name or Skool logo does not prove someone is official support. A member reported clicking a community post from someone posing as tech support. She then received an email claiming she needed to verify her identity after a security update. It threatened account restrictions and asked her to enter her bank card details. Thankfully, she did NOT enter her bank information. This is a phishing warning. These messages can look convincing, even when they start inside a community. Their goal is to trick you into sharing information that can be used to steal money or take over your accounts. • Do not click unexpected verification links, reply, or enter card details, passwords, or verification codes. • Do not trust a post just because it appears in our community or uses the Skool logo. • Open the Skool app or type skool.com into your browser yourself to check your account and reach official support. • Report suspicious posts and profiles, and send me a screenshot privately so I can investigate. Please do not repost clickable scam links. • Mark suspicious emails as phishing in your email account. If you already entered a password, change it through the real website and anywhere else you used it. If you entered card information, contact your card issuer immediately using its official app or the number on your card. If you only clicked, close the page and do not enter information or download anything. Please stay alert and check with me if something feels off. Thank you to the member who brought this to my attention so we can help protect everyone. Rashida
