I’m the boss. She thinks she takes me on a walk, a hike, a swim. She doesn’t know that she goes where I go, not the other way around… and that’s A O K with me! LOL I’ve got her wrapped around my paw. This week alone, I’ve brought her to the beach and the river, the forest over and over, the fields, and the playground. I even convinced her to go with a friend. She doesn’t it, but I’m the boss.

the weather doesn’t know which way it wants to go. Is it cold? Or hot? Will it be cold wet or hot wet? All I know is that the rats are everywhere and I love that! And weirdly enough, the snow helps. Sure wish mom did too.

We are hiking, what are you doing?

Where I live in the province of Quebec, Canada, cell service has not arrived yet. I can take videos and photos with my phone, but I can’t stream if I am not connected to wi-fi. While I like that I become somewhat untrackable, it also significantly reduces my capacity to stream our walks as we enjoy them. Still, I hope to bring some peace, and fun, a few minutes each day as you see the seasons evolve and our activities along with them. Enjoy the little narratives and everyday sounds and sights of a village nestled in the mixed forest of a valley with a river at the bottom and low mountains on either side. We take advantage of the landscape as far as our legs will take us. How do you enjoy the landscape that surrounds you?
