Introduction post
Hi everyone, sorry I'm still learning how this app works. My name's Julia and I'm in my mid-twenties. A few fun facts about me is that I have a very cute dog (I used to have birds), I speak five languages and I unexpectedly moved countries 5 years ago right when the pandemic hit.
I decided to do a career change after getting so many job application rejections over the past two years. I was bending over backwards for something I didn't even want or like just because it's what was expected of me. Or so I thought. So I decided to start over.
My goal here is that I want to learn more about business and how I could apply it to an architecture firm or construction business. Or maybe eventually a developer business in real estate or something. But for starters I want to start a freelance architecture business and work remotely so I enrolled in an architecture program at a local university so I can get my license. I know rejection is part of business so the sooner I get over the fear, the better. I also have a degree in business and it's crazy how little they teach about entrepreneurship or how to actually get started when you have nothing.
