Hi, my name is Br ON Weekes. I’m a nondenominational LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈 affirming chaplain, councillor, and professional energy healer. I’m honoured to be a guide on your journey, and even though I have 20 years experience, and attuned near 100 students to reiki 1, there are still things I’m learning. So no mater where you are in life; if you have a healers touch, or you want to, or you want to perfect your abilities, then you have found the right place. Usui Sensei defined Reiki as two things - the spiritual healing of all illness, and a secular enlightenment system. Even though there are some things that may impinge upon some religious beliefs, it is up to you whether you are offended, or open minded enough to entertain ideas from another point of view. I do not teach what I haven’t experienced myself, and since everyone perceives and understands things differently, your understanding of the universe (though different to mine) is just as valid as anyone else’s, and I’d love to hear it, so I may learn more - in any interaction we can be either the teacher or the student (only the ego holds tight to such things 😇) The most important thing to remember through all this is that judgement closes the heart - if you judge yourself by saying, “I can’t do that” or “I’m not as powerful as them” than you are limiting yourself, and I have trained many people to be masters that had that same thought. So too with judging the client on the table or chair before you - they are there to be healed not judged - to be safe and accepted - and if your energy stops flowing, 9 out of 10 it will be because you are judging yourself or your client.
