[Comment on the Skool app some of your personal takeaways for the rest of group to share]
Is the big idea of getting something in exchange for something we give. It is the reciprocity of repayment for our contributions that are useful for what is needed to live a full life. My personal growth only came as a result of attempting to see others' points of view through the lens of my own errors. To have a distinguished and impactful income comes from an exceptional and dedicated contribution. I want to share with you The 4 Laws of earning money in order to not just get by. It's a simple formula to use.
The need for what you do. +
How well you do what you do. +
The difficulty in replacing you. +
How many people you serve. =
To the degree of how much you're compensated.
So if you are currently not receiving the income you want in life.. You must begin to think of your service or efforts in terms of these four variables. πŸ”Ž I firmly believe that your income reflects the world's view of your contributions and place in it. If this happens to be a foreign concept to you, I hate to be the bearer of bad news.. The fact is that nobody really cares about what you want. Often the world at large couldn't care less about even one certain individual's existence. It's a hard reality to face. Albeit you must earn what you get and your realized gains & rewards are your only true indication of merit on the service or efforts that you give.
In terms of the Income Formula, most day-to-day people get it wrong by believing that they are irreplaceable or that the thing most interesting to them is a need and not a want. Now granted, you ought to find the work you love, but in turn the work should love you back. It is very common to have an unhealthy relationship with money and your work. Be keen to have satisfaction and fulfilment as your rewards in this life. To honor your inner being, you need to belong and do your part in a way that is real to you. Again, over time you ought to be paid enough to provide the lifestyle you desire most. Choosing the proper service & efforts in how you spend your time will compensate you accordingly.
Simply put in getting ahead, a mainstay for financial prosperity is one's ability to receive adequate steady compensation. Know that money does not solve money-problem, especially with the same thinking and ideas that created them in the first place.. Hold fast to the urgency of acquiring a financial surplus regardless of income bracket or station in life. Tracking your progress via the Income Formula will aid in things panning out in the end.
Truly our income is a reflection of the need for our efforts, how well we perform, the level of difficulty of replacement, and the number of people we impact. It's alright if you were conditioned to the idea entitlement or minimum wage and don't fully grasp the means to expand and scale your current compensation. Aim your focus at the margins of the four financial laws I shared above when and where you can. πŸ’‘ All we can strive for is excellence, servant-leadership, quality, wherewithal, and seeing value where others don't. Again what you get; is in exact proportion to what you give. And if the rewards don't cut it for you, it may be better to churn out a greater effort. E.i more, harder, smarter, or even simpler work. When you're in hot pursuit of financial gain your service & efforts to others must increase. Specifically answering these two questions; How can I help? And what's innit for you and me? So the moral of this lesson is that wishing for more results without adding or improving your involvement only leads to frustration and failure. Wealth equals a certain need that I can fill, plus how well I do it, plus the level of difficulty of replacement, and how many people I reach. #midweeklesson
