A recent group I was working with showed some great levels of determination and resilience.
Unfortunately, the weather was really poor and heading back to school would have meant becoming more drenched than we already were.
The group hatched a plan to build a debris shelter in the woods for cover, then worked together to build a small fire to help dry out and keep warm.
We were really surprised by their resilience and ability to adapt to the changing environment, something that is not so easy for some of the young people today.
This was a great reminder to persevere, adapt and commit to the situation as it presents itself.
