The REAL Misinformation Machine…
At the time when it’s become most dangerous to post your thoughts and feelings online in the UK, we’re being told by the UN/EU that we should surrender our online anonymity and “get our news from trusted sources.”..😑
Hilariously, in a gloriously well timed Telegraph exposé it has today been revealed that the most trusted of trusted sources - the BBC - released a fake Trump video designed to make him look bad.
So who’s really spreading misinformation?
When state-funded media can lie without consequence, and ordinary people can be punished for telling the truth, anonymity stops being suspicious - it becomes essential.
Anonymity isn’t the enemy of democracy.
It’s the last line of defence against propaganda.
