How to Beat Digital Distraction
Hey,
I'm going to be honest with you dude.
A few days ago I wrote an email about how I had subtle burnout from information overload.
Not the dramatic kind. The quiet kind. The kind where you love what you do so much that you forget to stop.
And this Saturday it hit me.
I barely touched my phone. And my brain felt clearer than it had in weeks.
Our mothers were right. It's the f*cking phone.
Not the phone itself — the unconscious use of it. Picking it up out of habit. Scrolling to make time pass. Feeding your brain with noise when it's desperate for silence.
I dropped a new video breaking down exactly what I changed, its a non-stimulating conversational video, if thats your jam then you'll like this:
— The 3 questions I ask before I pick up my phone
— How I redesigned my phone to be boring on purpose (greyscale, folders, deleted everything unnecessary)
— My exact morning routine that protects my best creative hours
— Why your attention is your most valuable asset and how to stop giving it away for free
This isn't a productivity hack video. It's a reality check from someone who's living it.
