Unpacking Multiplexing- takeaways?
Hey who attended the Unpacking Multiplex last night? I loved it - cool to hear about more of the design/human side of multiplexing from those who work in the industry.
What was your biggest takeaway? Mine was the value of using some of the existing structure if the house has good bones, rather than rebuild.
Lingering question is what is the benefit of doing an ADU when a similar investment could buy a property & house in a secondary or tertiary market as an additional investment (plus you are getting land). The value of an ADU is not clicking for me.
The new ReHousing tool will be a a game changer for high level anaylsis of properties (I believe just in City of Toronto).
