New out of state investor under contract
Hi all,
I’m currently under contract for a single family home built in the 1920s. My realtor mentioned the floor was slanted and that it’s common for some of the older homes. The seller did some work on the crawl space back in 2023, I included the invoice from crawl space medic. I talked to my realtor about hiring a structural engineer during this period but he’s been trying to assure me that it should be fine. We haven’t done the inspection yet but I still feel more confident if a structural engineer also evaluated it. What do you all think? Thanks in advance.
