Does anyone know if this was ever passed into legislation?
In December 2025, Belize's Cabinet approved a proposed fast-track route to permanent residency for foreign investors committing a minimum of US$500,000 (currency denomination and implementing regulations pending) to approved commercial ventures. The measure removes the previous one-year physical-presence requirement and signals a government push to attract foreign direct investment.
