How to find free containers for gardening or fermenting!
Did you know businesses in your own town are throwing away containers like crazy right this very second? All right guys, so right now I want to talk to you about how to get free containers for your garden, so Everybody knows if you've been to Home Depot Gardening pots are pretty expensive. Sometimes I like a dollar. Sometimes the bigger ones are like five dollars Some of them are like twenty dollars for like a really big one, right? So Where can we get free ones dude? You know what I'm saying like somebody's got to be throwing them away somewhere We got to be able to get that shit so it doesn't end up in a landfill Just rotting away in a pile of dirt somewhere. We need to use that shit dude. So The first one I'm going to suggest is landscaping companies. So landscaping companies in your area typically are just Buying thousands and thousands of plants and laying them out in people's yards or businesses whatever, right? Sometimes they don't have a contract with the nursery that they work with to provide those plants Sometimes they have to give the pots back, but sometimes you'll find a company that's like just starting or a smaller one They just throw them away So you can call all the landscaping companies in your area and see if they have extra pots. They're just Gonna throw away. You'd be surprised how many have them Second my personal favorite one. This is one you can use for food safe Ferments, right? So if you want to make like your FAA's or your Your sugar-based ferments that are going to get your extractions. You know what I'm saying then you can go to bakeries and Restaurants so bakeries usually have Frosting or certain stuff like that that comes in four or five gallon buckets Restaurants also have lots of five gallon buckets pickles come in buckets like that. So burger places usually have You know places where they're gonna sell lots of pickles right burger places run lots of pickles so they have those buckets just all over the place and restaurants They try to reuse them, but a lot of times they just don't need them, you know
