Originally from New York City, since 1976 I am located in South Florida. I am on Skool to promote railroad travel, safety, tours and excursions mainly in North America. I am a devoted advocate of passenger rail travel and safety. When Amtrak decided to discontinue the dining cars and the traditional dining car meals on the east coast trains; I started a petition that as of 12/30/2025 has amassed 162,974 signatures. During a Congressional hearing my testimony was presented to Amtrak. I am a member of Rail Passengers Association, Florida Coalition of Rail Passengers, Florida East Coast Railway Society and received advocacy training from GoRail and safety training from CSX. Now, as a certified Travel Advisor, I am also promoting and arranging rail travel and tours me mainly in North America through Railbookers, Amtrak Vacations and Rocky Mountaineer Train Tours.
