The interview scheduling system that killed all my email tag
You guys also lose 30 mins per candidate just on email tag scheduling interviews? Across timezones it's even worse. Bet a lot of us are in the same boat. Here's what I built (free): 1. Set up a free Calendly account. Tell it your real availability. Calendly gives you a link people can use to book a time. 2. Sign up for n8n — free tool that triggers actions when stuff happens in your ATS or email. 3. Build a workflow: when you tag a candidate "passed phone screen" in your sheet/ATS → n8n auto-sends them an email with the Calendly link and a short intro to the next stage. 4. Bonus: when they book, n8n sends them a prep email 24 hours before with the job description attached and a "what to expect" note. 5. Zero back-and-forth. They book themselves. Anybody got thoughts? Hope this helps 🙏 happy to walk through it if anyone gets stuck.

How I screen 200+ LinkedIn profiles in an hour (not a day)
Hi everyone. Have really been struggling with sourcing recently. Also over the last few months I've banged my head against the wall manually screening 200+ LinkedIn profiles for every role I open. I was talking to ChatGPT and figured out a way to cut this in half. Sharing in case it helps (about $5/m): 1. Pull candidate profiles into a Google Sheet — either manually or with a free LinkedIn scraping extension like PhantomBuster (free trial). 2. In a separate Google Doc, write what your ideal candidate looks like for the role — years of experience, must-have skills, nice-to-haves. 3. Sign up for n8n (free) and OpenAI (cents per use). 4. Build a workflow: take each row of the candidate sheet → send it + your "ideal candidate" doc to OpenAI → OpenAI scores them 1-10 and writes a one-sentence reason → score goes back into the sheet. 5. You only call the top 20%. Saves about 4 hours per role. I really hope this helps 🙏 happy to walk through it if anyone needs. Thanks!
