DistroKid
I have a friend who has started releasing his own original music through DistroKid and told me that I might be able to release my mashups through there. But instead of listing the artists so that they pop up on their artists page, which I don’t want to do, I could give them credit by listing all the stems/songs I used from each artist.
I don’t want to mess up anything with my friend’s music and want my mashups to be free for everyone on streaming platforms. I just wanted to see what could be the best recommendation for me to join my friend’s Ultimate subscription as the 2nd artist, but give him all or the majority of the royalties, which I don’t really care about. Or should I just buy my own, which would be the basic Musician subscription?https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Gaemv35oyTHEzSbu9ATKM6pojBhZr4Xx
