During my recent Reiki teacher certification ritual, I was instructed to hold my arms and hands in a very specific position. I immediately recognized the posture from ancient Egyptian imagery. Different culture. Different time. A remarkably familiar gesture. Coincidence? Symbolism? Something more? As we move deeper into Quantum ReiQi™ School, we’re going to explore some fascinating connections between energy, the human body, and Reiki practice. By Course 3, you’ll have a framework for understanding what we mean by energy, where ancient cultures believed it was harnessed in the human body, how practices such as Reiki are understood to interact with it—and what we can actually say about their effects.
