Welcome to Clief Notes. Here's where to start.
1. Watch the intro video and introduce yourself in the intro post here 2. Start with The Foundation (free course). Concepts, folder architecture, prompting framework. Everything else builds on this. 3. Check in at the bottom of each lesson. Polls, discussion posts, other members working through the same stuff. Use them. 4. When you're ready to build real things, move to Implementation Playbooks (Level 2). When you're ready to build your own tools, Building Your Stack (Level 3). 5. Post your work. Ask questions. Help others when you can. What are you here to build?

🚨 You've been asking when the Lyceum opens. The waitlist is live. 🚨
The waitlist is up and seats are limited, so this is your nudge to go lock yours in. 👇 New here? Quick context. 👀 The Lyceum is Jake's live cohort program built on ICM, the methodology 35,000 people in this community are already using to get real results with AI. The short version: folders over agents. You learn the layer underneath the tools, the one that keeps working when the next model drops. Full breakdown is on the site. Here's what's inside: 🎯 Three cohorts, Technical, Business, and Creator. Same methodology, built around what you actually do. 🎥 Live sessions with Jake and a full team of instructors. ♾️ Lifetime recordings, written curriculum, and a private cohort Discord. 📜 An Eduba ICM certification you can put on your resume. And a guarantee no course makes: ✅ You leave with a working product, or the team finishes it with you. ⏳ Seats are limited and this community moves fast, so the math is not in your favor if you wait. 💡 Pricing and start dates aren't public yet. The waitlist sees them first, gives feedback on timing, and gets in before the program opens. Everything you want to know is on the page. If you already know this is for you, get on it. 🔥 👉 https://lyceum.eduba.io

This post isn’t for you 🚫
I wrote this essay because of my coworkers, my relatives, the influencers online who poke fun at AI because of the slop they see. I don’t blame them. As we all know even if you want to adopt the technology there is endless slop in the form of the same tools and wrappers that will be replaced by the next Claude update. It so easy to be jaded about this movement and it’s easy for us to miss that being a part of this community. The reality is every other person I speak with rolls their eyes when I talk about what I see here. Please if you find this useful share with the people in your life who feel the same. https://donsbookshelf.com/blog/dont-let-ai-slop-fool-you/
🚀 Curtis Hays drops Article #4 in his series — and it’s a banger.
If you’ve been riding the AI wave, you’ve probably felt it: prompt engineering is getting easier by the week. But what happens when everyone can do it well? In his latest piece, Curtis breaks down exactly why prompt engineering will become a commodity skill in the next 3 years — and more importantly, where the real edge is moving. This is classic Curtis: sharp pattern recognition from 15+ years in tech and marketing, delivered with zero fluff. He’s been calling these shifts before they happen (websites → SEO → content → now AI), and this one might be the most important yet. Article: “Prompt engineering will be a commodity skill inside of three years.” Go read it here 👇 https://www.skool.com/cliefnotes/classroom/c7f102c7?md=78f322f759c641de8418e9a65281afd9 _______________________________________________________________________________________ Curtis, thank you for another outstanding contribution. This series has been pure gold for the community. Now it’s your turn — drop your thoughts below: - Do you agree prompt engineering will become table stakes? - What do you think the next layer (the real differentiator) actually is? Let’s discuss. The best insights usually come from the comments in here. Welcome to the conversation 🔥 _______________________________________________________________________________________ If you haven't yet checked out Davids Corner ... You should!
