My dear friends, Yesterday we celebrated a very special day — the day of a Fundamental Constant that has been largely underestimated and misunderstood: Tau Tau and the number e are essentially the same — except that Tau relates to the spatial dimension, while e relates to the dimension of time. This is precisely what Theory Q reveals. Today, however, is an even more significant day, because today I will be sharing with the participants of qLogos something truly unique... June 28 – Tau Day When Michael Hartl published The Tau Manifesto in 2010, he made a strong case for replacing π with τ = 2π as the more natural circle constant. Many mathematicians found his arguments elegant and convincing. Yet perhaps Tau deserves an even greater role. In Theory Q, Tau is not just a geometric alternative to π. It is presented as one of three fundamental constants that describe reality across different dimensions — alongside e, which governs growth in time, and π, which describes surfaces in two dimensions. Completing this picture in three dimensions is the constant σ (sigma), associated with volume and spatial structure. Together, these constants — e, Tau, π, and sigma — form what could be understood as the fundamental fabric of spacetime and its underlying symmetry. Each one corresponds to a different layer of description: time, cyclicity, form, and volume. While Hartl sought to elevate Tau within mathematics, Theory Q places it within a broader ontological framework — suggesting that Tau is not merely twice pi, but a fundamental constant that helps reveal the deeper structural harmony of reality.
