New Course uploaded! How to get client referrals - email domination
I finally uploaded my email campaign and how you can do your own. It is in the classroom section of our platform. It is absolutely free but you have to be a level 2 member: meaning you have to engage with posts on our community and uplevel. I always want to help you all as much as possible but I need you guys to help me with engagement. There's nearly 200 members here and almost no engagement. This new course help me get 5 placement agents. I have 9 emails along with subject lines to send to your potential referral partners in facilities, board and care homes, hospitals, clinics, skilled nursing. There's also a video of me walking you through the flowchart of the email campaign and the things you should and shouldn't do to have the most success on open rate for the emails. You're very welcome. See you guys Wednesday for our very special QA with Craig!!!
Hiring Office Manager/ Marketer/ Business Development
Heyy everyone! When you hired someone to go out and market your business or even if you plan to once open. ( build relationships w/ potential referral sources) ! What did that look like for you starting out ? Did you post the position on indeed ? Or was it a referral from a family friend or employee ? Did you hire per diem / full time / part time ? Did you add commission to the hourly rate every time they signed on a new client ? ALSO ……. Do you have a minimum hourly requirement? If no minimum Do you charge more hourly for short hours? I have a minimum of 4hrs but I have been getting so many calls about 1-2hrs & im kinda considering it on a case by case basis! I love to get feedback 💕🙏🏽
How I introduce myself at events
At this event (Elder Senior Network -Professional Marketing Mixer) there were 5-8 other home care agencies: and I’m talking big dogs. Agencies that have been in the industry 15-20 years plus. I brought a door prize and this allowed me to speak to everyone in the room. Here is my quick speech. This little speech allowed me to say who I was, where I serviced, and to switch it up-I talked about a position I have available for hiring in my company. This let me talk about my company culture and expectations. It allowed me to talk about how I run my company. Directly following my speech-2 referral companies and 1 non-profit company asked me to meet with them. Don’t sleep on these types of opportunities. My door prize was a Stanley cup with LMNT electrolyte packets $30 from Target and it opened up an opportunity for me to speak in front of industry legends.
How I introduce myself at events
My first sale!
I had my first official client. I’ve been getting all my clients from placement agents and today was the first client I closed all by myself. They came to us through referral and reputation so honestly it wasn’t a hard sale but I definitely broke through some of my limiting beliefs around being a salesperson. Getting pizza to celebrate my win. 🥇
How to get more clients for your agency + Keep the Ones You Have
Hey everyone! 👋 I noticed quite a few posts asking how to get caregiving clients from scratch, so I dug deeper into this topic. Here’s a quick summary of some simple, proven strategies to attract and retain clients: 🚀 How to GET More Clients: - Show Up Online:Short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) is extremely effective. Pro Tip: Hook viewers in the first 3 seconds! - Win Private-Pay Clients:Network strategically with doctors, elder-law attorneys, and financial planners. - Secure Medicaid/Medicare Referrals:Build trusted relationships with hospital discharge planners and Medicaid case managers. - Partner with Local Facilities:Collaborate with assisted living centers, rehab facilities, hospices, and hospitals to become their go-to partner. - Tailor Your Marketing:Seniors want trust & safety, disability support emphasizes empowerment, pediatric care requires empathy and expertise. 🔒 How to KEEP Your Clients (Great Retention Tip from @Mariam Dawood ): Do regular client check-ins. It’s as simple as calling to ask how things are going: - Check in after the very first caregiver shift. - Follow up every couple of weeks. - Use honest client feedback to continuously improve your care. - Share feedback (anonymously) across your agency, highlighting behaviors that need improvement. - Send handwritten thank-you cards monthly - clients love personal touches! If doing client check-ins feels daunting at first, remember: Exposure therapy works! You’ll quickly become comfortable, and your clients will feel valued. 💡 Post ideas I'm considering (I’m a software engineer building tools specifically for caregiving agencies - open to suggestions & questions!): - Complete guide: How to Launch Your Caregiving Website & Master SEO - Step-by-step: Running Effective Facebook Ads for Caregiving Agencies - Guide: Using AI to Automate and Streamline Caregiving Agency Operations Would love to hear your thoughts and ideas! Good luck, everyone - you got this! 🚀✨
