I learned about Hiro through an herbalism podcast. A mother was concerned about her baby and the billions of diapers clogging up the earth—she and her team invented the first Mycodigestible™.
(aka digested by fungi) Since then, I have been going down the rabbit hole with curiosity about more mushroom-based products that can be swapped to bring no harm to nature. Here's one—super cool!
"Dear Parent,
When we learned that every baby sits in a bleached diaper for the first 1,000 days of their life and goes through ~6,000 diapers that take 400+ years to break down, we set out to create a new kind of diaper, one that considers the entire ecosystem. Where baby, parent, and nature all win, in a real way."
Also, making Styrofoam replacements from mushrooms! Think I will set a goal to approach our massive Styrofoam users in Korea and suggest a new package. Hmmm,..... What have you learned to swap? :-)
