If someone had told me years ago that I would one day become known as a psychic, I probably would have laughed. Not because I didn't believe in God. Not because I wasn't open to helping people. But because being called a psychic wasn't something I ever wanted. Like many people, I had my own ideas about what that word meant. I didn't want to be associated with the stereotypes, the television personalities, or the image many people have of psychics. It simply wasn't who I was. My life was moving in an entirely different direction. Then one ordinary day, everything changed. I was about 40 years old and stopped by a friend's gift shop to buy my wife a greeting card. While I was there, I met a woman named Ann. During our conversation, she suddenly looked at me and asked, "Are you a psychic?" Without thinking... Without trying... Without even understanding why... I answered, "Yes." The moment I said those words, something happened that I still struggle to explain. Information began coming to me as naturally as having a conversation. There was no effort. No guessing. No trying to impress anyone. The answers simply came. I left that gift shop with one question echoing through my mind: "God... what just happened?" As a Christian, I wasn't willing to accept an experience like that without seeking God's direction. For the next 30 days, I prayed. Every day I asked God the same questions. "If this isn't from You, take it away." "If it is from You, make it clear." I searched Scripture. I searched my heart. I asked for wisdom, discernment, and peace. At the end of those 30 days, I believed I had my answer. I wasn't being called to become someone else. I was being called to use a gift to help people. That realization changed everything. More than twenty years have passed since that day. I've had the privilege of helping thousands of people navigate grief, relationships, careers, family struggles, major life decisions, and times when they simply needed hope. People often ask me if I use tarot cards, crystal balls, Ouija boards, séances, or other tools.
