Because I Believe
This morning at 2am. I penned an announcement for our upcoming celebration — a milestone I’ve looked forward to for a long time. Soon, we’ll reach 1,000 subscribers on YouTube. For many, it might just be a number. But for me, it’s a reflection of everything that’s unfolding — the direction we’re moving, the path we’re walking together, and the purpose behind every word, image, and video we share. As I was writing, I had my rough notes spread across the desk — a jumble of thoughts, phrases, and half-finished sentences. I stepped away for a moment, grabbed something to drink, and when I came back to read over what I’d written… something stopped me in my tracks. Without realizing it, I had written the words “I believe” more than eighteen times. “I believe in people having grounded truth.”“ I believe people can live meaningful, extraordinary lives.”Each one carried a heartbeat — and together, they formed a map back to why I started all this in the first place. Those words reminded me that belief has always been the foundation of everything I do, it's the quiet force behind Psychic Graffiti. The reason I sit down every day to create, to connect, and to keep building this community. So now, when someone asks me why I do what I do, the answer is simple. Because I Believe.

The Co-Worker We Can’t Stand
We’ve all had that person in our lives — the one whose very presence feels like sandpaper to the soul. Maybe it’s a co-worker who complains nonstop, a relative who always has to be right, or someone who carries an energy that just grates against yours. You can feel their frequency from across the room. And the instinct is simple: avoid them, tune them out, or wish they’d transfer to another department. But here’s a little truth I’ve learned after thousands of readings and even more human encounters —sometimes the people who irritate us the most are mirrors showing us who we’ve chosen not to be. That person who gossips constantly? They remind you that you value integrity. he one who’s always negative? They highlight the fact that you’re fighting to stay hopeful. The one who takes credit for everyone else’s work? They’re showing you why humility matters so deeply to you. They are, in their own uncomfortable way, teachers. You see, life doesn’t always send mentors wrapped in calm voices and gentle smiles. Sometimes it sends them wrapped in frustration, showing us—through contrast—what alignment really feels like. They remind us that growth isn’t just about becoming better; it’s about remembering the version of ourselves we’ve outgrown. So, the next time that co-worker walks in and you feel your energy tighten, pause for a moment. Take a breath. And instead of asking, “Why do they bother me so much?” try asking, “What are they reminding me to honor within myself?” Because when we learn to see the lesson instead of the irritation, something remarkable happens —the friction fades. And the mirror becomes gratitude.

The Small Things That Remind Us We’re Alive
Every now and then, something small happens that snaps us back into awareness — a little moment that makes you smile or feel deeply connected again. For me, it was stepping outside and catching sight of two squirrels running up and down a tree, and they were aware of me watching, checking to see if I had moved every now and again. It reminded me how alive the world really is, and how powerful it is to pause long enough to notice. What about you? What’s one unexpected thing that made you smile, pause, or feel grateful this week?
