#2 QnA
ask all and everything! If the question is a massive subject I will write an article on it! As an example the last QnA had a question on how to use weed, I will be releasing that article later today :)
New Teirs
Hi Guys, So to make this more of a community than just me ranting into the void I have decided to introduce Tiers! Tier 1: Free tier, this will allow folks to like the posts and join the community and ask questions on 1 QnA a week Tier 2: Standard Tier, $4. This Tier currently gives you access to everything. Tier 3: VIP, $15. This currently just mirrors Standard tier but I think i'll expand this so only members from this tier can direct message me at any time for questions, clarifications etc. I also plan on making classes/courses, perhaps this will only be for VIP? Unsure as of yet. All advice is welcome and sought after so please don't be shy, I want to make this place as good as it can be and mirror what you, want. All those who joined PRIOR to this article have been bumped to VIP for being early supporters :) Thank you.
Harm reduction and Weed
Okay, so this was suppost to be a QnA reply but golly this topic is a chunky monkey. Below is my attempt at giving some handy dos and don't in relation to bud along with some supplements I think are worth your attention. This subject is one filled with passion and a fair bit of folk lore. I hope I dont step on anyone's toes with this. Without further yap and ado on my part... Canabis exists in this grey area of being both clinically useful while carrying some health/wellbeing risks that I don't think are worth ignoring. Weed Do's 1) Track your consumption, this may sound silly but track how much you are actually smoking/eating. so for example: 3 joints 2 50mg edibles x weight in a bong. you get the idea, we want to make sure that consumption isnt slowly creeping up as thats where issues can arrise. Ideally 70mg (14 units) of pure THC is the upper weekly amount to avoid heavy tolerance and or dependancy issues 2) Use Dry Herb Vaporizers or Low dose edibles: If inhaling, switch from combustion to a temperature controlled dry herb vaporizer to avoid toxic combustion products. If you are taking edibles make sure you are taking cbd alongside of it to help co8unter some of the issues thc can cause. 3) following on from that last point... Choose Balanced THC:CBD Ratios: Select products that contain equal or higher amounts of CBD relative to THC to help protect against paranoia and memory impairment. CBD is an incredible compound with a very long list of benifits from neurological health, anti inflammation, mental health etc... 4) Take regular tolerance breaks, a month would be ideal, but at a minimum 7 days when every you feel your tolerance starting to build. You can keep using CBD during this period. Weed No Nots: 1) avoid like the plague any form that boasts high THC content, this is what leads the majority of weeds issues! 2) Try and avoid using it for sleep, I understand that a lot of folks use Weed as a sleep aid and if you genuinly need it for sleep then I would attempt to ween yourself off it for that reason and look to more healthy alternatives. I will put a protocol at the bottom along with links. HOWEVER, smoking 2 to 3 hours pre bed to calm down in the evening is okay and may even help sleep quality!

The Ultimate Lemon Tek Guide
Understanding the Lemon Tek If you’ve spent any time looking into mushroom preparation, you’ve almost certainly heard of the "Lemon Tek." It often gets talked about like a mystic ritual, but when you strip away the lore, it’s just simple, kitchen chemistry designed to make an experience gentler on your stomach and shorten the experience, unless you know... you re dose. The Basics: Moving the Work Outside Your Body To understand why this method works, it helps to look at what happens when you swallow raw dried mushrooms. In their raw state, mushrooms present two big hurdles for your body: 1. Mushroom cell walls are made of chitin, the same tough material found in crustacean shells. Humans lack the digestive enzymes to break chitin down easily, which is why raw tissue can somtimes causes nausea, bloating, and severe cramps. 2. The main compound in raw mushrooms, psilocybin, isn't what actually interacts with your brain. It is an inactive precursor. Your stomach acid and liver enzymes have to strip away a phosphate molecule to turn it into psilocin, the active compound that produces the experience and gives us all the effects we are after. Lemon Tek acts as a cheat code and moves both of those jobs out of your stomach and into a cup. Fresh lemon or llime juice has a high acidity (a low pH around 2.0 to 2.5) that closely mimics your gastric juice, to be hoenst you can use anything that has this PH, I tend to just use citric acid. When ground material sits in citrus juice, the acid acts as a catalyst, converting the precursor psilocin. At the same time, the liquid draws the active compounds out of the physical tissue. This conversion happens as soon as the acid meets psilocybin so you don't need to wait long, 5 minuets will be more than enough for a blended mix. A small Caveat here: there are plenty of different ways of going about this, you can blend, chop or leave whole. The more surface area that the acid has in contact with the mushroom the faster and more complete the conversion will be.
