This community is for people that have in interest in working in psych or are already working in psych and want to sharpen their skills to be most effective and impactful to patients in the psych community.
After working in psych wards for over 7 years, I earned the name, "The Patient Whisperer" because of my ability to verbally de-escalate patients that were potentially a danger to themselves or others. It's an amazing feeling to find purpose and make an impact in a field that is starving for workers who really care, and aren't just there for a check.
Whether you work in psych, plan to, or you're just entertaining the idea, this community is meant to bring people together from multiple fields of interest, to learn, grow, share and connect with people who get it and want put patients first.
