Lake Tahoe
Since the weather was not permitting us out at Rye Patch, I decided to do a small trip up to one of my favorite beaches at Tahoe. I was showing my good friend Jimmy the ropes with the monster 1000. We dug up many targets. We were hoping to find some gold rings, but instead we cleaned up the beach of trash, found a tiny gold link, and it felt pretty good! Always a good feeling to clean up part of my home. I don't think many beachgoers realise what is beneath their feet. The number of nails was a bit uncomfortable to see, considering I am barefoot on the beach usually.
I am considering doing some beach cleanups as a group this year. Would anyone be interested in joining? Mainly, Tahoe was my thought, but it could be anywhere we would be allowed.
