Below are a few collection dispute codes that have been working really well lately. Feel free to test them out and put them to work 👇 🔹 COLLECTION DISPUTE CODES 🔹 ✅1) 12 CFR §1006.34(b)(5) Reason for Deletion: Failure to Provide Required Itemization This collection account should be deleted because the debt collector failed to provide a proper itemization of the alleged debt. Federal law requires a clear breakdown of the balance, including interest, fees, payments, and credits applied after the itemization date. Without this required information, the amount reported cannot be verified as accurate or complete, making the reporting noncompliant and subject to deletion. ✅2) 12 CFR §1006.34(c)(4)(i) Reason for Deletion: Failure to Properly Identify the Original Creditor This account should be removed because the debt collector did not clearly and accurately identify the original creditor as required by law. Without proper disclosure of the original creditor, the consumer cannot reasonably confirm the validity or ownership of the debt. Any collection reported without this required information is misleading and must be deleted. ✅3) 12 CFR §1006.34(d) & 15 USC §1681s-2(a)(7)(A) Reason for Deletion: Failure to Validate and Reasonably Investigate This account must be deleted because, after being disputed, the furnisher failed to conduct a reasonable investigation and provide proper verification. Federal law requires disputed information to be investigated and corrected or deleted if it cannot be verified. Since the accuracy and validity of this account were not proven, continued reporting is unlawful. Good luck 💪 2026 — we’re applying the information we learn💎
