Joining the Pro Gig community 2 years ago was the best decision I could have made. Finbar Horgan is not only one of the most experienced solo covers artists in the business, his approach as a mentor is awesome... he guides; nurtures; educates; critiques and points us in the right direction, with a lot of fun along the way! PGA+ has changed everything for me! I used to sing songs in a rock band in my early 20’s, all in their original key, to sound just like the record. Now in my late 50’s, I can’t hit all of those notes, or sustain a voice for long sets trying to do that. Finbar has showed me how to alter keys that I play in, so that I can sing even more difficult songs now! I’ve built a great set list of crowd pleaser songs through this community, & now have had the confidence to play & sing solo at many open mics

When it comes to joining a club/group I usually go long with Grouch Marx ... however I am so glad I joined this community. Finbar is a fantastic, talented, enthusiastic, supportive teacher and fosters a great spirit of camaraderie. Joining has inspired me to pick up the guitar again after years of not really playing. I really enjoy discovering songs I didn't know, as well as ones I'd always discounted as being in the wrong key for me to sing. 3 open mic nights and going strong!

Marvelous community of musicians educating and encouraging each other thanks to the initiative, energy and creativity of Finbar and other members. If you've always dreamed of playing live gigs for fun or extra income like I have, this is the place to be!

Joining the PGA+ community has been the best investment I've made for years in developing towards becoming a performing singer/guitarist. The educational material is excellent - comprehensive, practical, effective and straightforward. The community is hugely positive and supportive. Finbar, who leads and coaches the community is an excellent coach - hugely supportive and responsive. I've made great progress since I joined in building up a repertoire of songs that I'm now confident in playing.
