I will be attending a networking event in my town today. I am still not sure how I will market my products. Online is difficult for makeup product due to the need to try products prior to purchasing. I am just gathering data at this point.

I started making lip gloss in January and giving it to friends and family. I enjoyed the work so much I decided to create a private label makeup brand. I have learned things, made mistakes, and want to learn with others. I have a technology background but due to wanting to be in business for myself and to be more independent I decided to create my own LLC and begin marketing my products. I create many of my lip glosses and have used that experience to learn the details around packaging, legal issues around labeling, marketing, tracking formulas and quality control. I am also partnering with a US based makeup manufacturer and am very satisfied with my interactions with them. Join me on my journey. I would love to help others start their own ventures and I would love to learn how to solve some issues that are most challenging about this venture, which includes following safety guidelines, increasing sales with a product that most want to try before they buy, packaging costs, defining who I am marketing to.
