New play drop coming tomorrow!
Make sure you download play drop #1 before it is removed tomorrow. Hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend. My weekend has been filled with home ‘stuff’. Cleaning, sorting and picking up FB marketplace finds - anyone else love a bargain?! Oh and fish and chips by the water was a highlight on Saturday. What did you get up to? Zoe x

Happy Weekend!!
What are you up to this weekend? My ‘weekend’ starts on Friday afternoon at the park. Tree climbing, Digging with sticks and going on the gym equipment (does anyone else’s child/ren love the gym equipment at parks?!) 😂 Today I’m supporting my beautiful bestie and her charity It’s From Elsie 💓💓💓. Have a lovely weekend and let us know in the comments what you’re up to 📸. Zoe x

Play Zone - coffee table ✅
I was chatting to a beautiful mum at Playgroup today about how a coffee table in my house is the area that gets played on. I would say the most. It’s a new addition to our living room and I’m so glad I got it. My daughter loves an activity and needs some quiet time to regulate after a big day of daycare so I typically will pop something out onto the table that I know that she will enjoy playing with when she gets home. That gives me time to jump in and start dinner and also allows her to chill a little bit. I find my son will join in with her or is happier to go and explore and choose freely of something that he might like to do - usually outside with a ball at the moment. It works, because she is close by as we can see and chat to each other while I’m in the kitchen. Bringing the play to you can be very helpful in engaging your child/ren for longer. What zone in your house is played in a lot? 📸 my coffee table with some stamps, ink and a notebook ready for my girl. Took me 30 seconds to get off the art trolley and pop it on the table.

Bubble bath potions 🧪🛁🫧
We are at the tail end of a cold and latest play drop came at just the right time! Day 7 of being home all day and the potion recipe worked a treat for Miss 3 to give her ocean animals a bubble bath. The penguins are really enjoying their spa day! 🤣

✨ New Play Drop - #2 is here!
It has a science theme this fortnight. 1. Download the new Play Drop #2 to you have the copy forever. Keep it digital or print it. 2. Work out what resources you need to source. The list on the last page makes it easy to scan. 3. Choose one activity and watch the magic unfold. Toy & book rotation: I personally don’t have a hard and fast rule around when I rotate toys. I simply observe my children playing and what they’re gravitating towards - I keep those out. My kids are ooshie obsessed, lining them up and counting them so I will put some magnetic tiles out for them to build shelters for the ooshies which goes nicely with one of the play drop activities. I notice what they haven’t touched and swap those out. This week in my house: haven’t touched flower building or the puzzles so I will swap them from the shelf. I’m here to help. Please ask me questions and share your wins. Have a great week, Zoe x
