My hope for this community is just that ~ community. Whether you are a seasoned ECE vet, first year teacher (or somewhere in between), considering the field of Early Childhood Education as your profession, or a grownup responsible for a young child, I hope that you find “your people”, or better yet, “our people” here. I envision all of us sharing resources, chat topics, photos (with children blurred out of course!), questions, ideas, support, and more as we seek to provide the best experiences for the young children in our lives. I believe the work we do with young children is the most-important work there is outside of parenting. All children deserve to grow up in a world where they are safe, loved, valued, and equipped as human beings to thrive in our ever-changing world. One of my favorite sayings is “All of us are smarter than one of us,” and it is with that spirit of that I invite you to join Preschool 101!
