I recently had an interview where they had asked about what were a few things I've been reading about the markets currently and I was wondering what would be the best approach to answering the question. Should it be specific to the team I'm interviewing for example to show my keen interest and understanding or should i have a structured answer that looks at different types of markets (commodities, currencies, industries etc.)? Thank you for the help.

Another question I had was understanding the impact of DTL and DTAs in an M&A deal. How are they treated and recorded? I find this concept as well as the impact of options, convertible debt, and dilutive securities on a deal a bit challenging to understand so would love to get some clarity with that. Thank you!
