โณ WHAT DOES WAITING ON GOD LOOK LIKE? โณ
Many people think waiting on God means doing nothing. Biblical waiting is not passive. It is active trust. Waiting on God means continuing to obey, pray, serve, worship, and believe even when you donโt yet see the answer. While youโre waiting, God is working. ๐ Isaiah 40:31โBut those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.โ So what should we do while we wait? ๐ PrayKeep talking to God even when Heaven seems quiet. ๐ Philippians 4:6โBe anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.โ ๐ Stay FaithfulKeep doing the last thing God told you to do. ๐ Galatians 6:9โAnd let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.โ ๐ Trust His TimingGodโs delays are not His denials. ๐ Ecclesiastes 3:11โHe has made everything beautiful in its time.โ ๐ Worship AnywayPraise shifts your focus from the problem to the Promise Keeper. ๐ Psalm 34:1โI will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.โ ๐ Prepare for the AnswerAct like you believe God is moving. ๐ Habakkuk 2:3โFor the vision is yet for an appointed timeโฆ Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come.โ ๐ Be Still and ListenSometimes God speaks the loudest when we become quiet. ๐ Psalm 46:10โBe still, and know that I am God.โ Remember this: Waiting on God is not wasting time. It is allowing God to prepare you for what He has prepared for you. Your waiting season is not punishment. It is preparation.
