Today and the foreseeable future we will be mulching tons and tons of sticks, weeds, and leaves. Yes it looks like I have my arm down in the chute, that’s because I do, but don’t worry I am just using a poking stick to get the smaller grassy weeds moved around in the machine as they tend to bunch up easily. It’s been really fun and at the end you can see the mulch it is making, its a mix of cedar, pine and oak branches that are dead fallen from around our property as well as either fresh underbrush or old dead stuff like leaves and weeds. It makes a really amazing smelling garden with the smell of fresh cut pine with every step, an added plus is the plushness of the ground, it’s like walking on fluffy clouds. The Lord truly is good and His blessing’s innumerable.

With the drought here in southeast Oklahoma, some look dried but some are getting some purple to them! God willing, we will be making beauty berry jelly again this year😊

I am thankful to God for you and God has chosen us for the world in which billions of people live so that we can serve Him and achieve salvation and everlasting life. The Lord says that you are not but I have chosen you from this world God has the purpose in everything and everything. No work or thing happens without God's will I believe that God has mixed us out of this great world. There is definitely a purpose in God

With winter around the corner we were looking for something to mulch up leaves and sticks for us. Right when we went looking we were blessed by the Lord to find a perfect little wood chipper off of marketplace. It was cheap and it was a sad circumstance as to why they were getting rid of it, (the father was very aged), but it was in working order besides two flat tires. Fast forward a bit and this week I got no flat tires installed, then as I was hauling the chipper to my garden… they fell off. Luckily it was an easy fix, the original tires were much larger on the axle and the new ones ended up wiggling the lock washer free. So I took a nut large enough to go around the axle on both sides, snugged it up to the tires, drilled a hole through the nut and axle and then I used old fencing wire to secure everything together. I was able to get the chipper to the garden and get started laying a beautiful layer of mulch! Praise the Lord for teaching through even the smallest things how to be resourceful and to trust in Him!
