First small gig

I just wanted to share something with You here..

I had my first small gig this week. Just a couple of songs, but for me it was a big break.. I was scared and worried that I will mess up chords and lyrics and everything.

But everything went smooth and well, so I'm really happy with that!

I guess there will be more soon.. :)

At the same time I would like to ask for advice.

For once - I would love some kind of mixer with compression. So I don't have to adjust volume from song to song all the time - any recomendations?
I was lacking some kind of small monitoring just for me - I guess it is also common setup even for small gigs, righ? Or this is just a fancy stuff and I can pass on that?
Any advice from experienced people here? :)
