When I talk with younger musicians about their practice systems, its usually a relatively mindless and repetative. Playing your scales over and over only gets you so far...
If you find practice gets boring quickly or you feel like you aren't seeing much improvement, its because you aren't getting enough feeback or the feeback that you are getting is too vague (like: "open up your sound" or "just sing it") and it doesn't give you actionable steps to make REAL progress. Even worse, you might be the best one in your school, area, or state which means the amount of available people qualified to give you advice and feedback is few and far between.
This community is to solve THAT problem. Post your playing here here, ask for help, make mistakes, learn, get better, and pass your skills forward to someone else who wants it.
