The 10 step Rebellion! π (yes, these headings will be cheesy)
This week, your mission is simple:
Take the obvious photo first. Then rebel against it.
Grab your camera and take a walk around your community.
When you arrive at a nice view, street, square, cafΓ©, building, market, canal, station...something that pops out at you...take a photo.
That first photo is your postcard shot.
Then do this:
Walk 10 steps (or more) in any direction, crouch down or even sit on the floor if you can.
As you move around, ask yourself:
βIs this angle better?β
Move until bins, cars, signs are less obvious.
Easy camera settings
Keep this very simple:
For streets, buildings and views:
A/Av mode, Auto ISO, f/5.6βf/8
Use β0.3 to β1 exposure compensation so the sky does not become too bright.
No deep settings talk needed. The real skill this week is moving before zooming.
What to post
Post 1 photo only.
In your caption, write:
βWhat I tried wasβ¦β
Example:
What I tried was walking 10 steps to the left and using the doorway to frame the square.
