Show us one piece of your current Portable Life
Inspired by new member @Justin Kreger None of us have a perfect life, what we all have is the life that works for us right now. You may want to make it more portable or tweak it so that it reflects more of you and what you want for your life. It all takes time and it can be easy to look at others life with envy, but know that everyone that has what they have has worked to make it happen. Some move faster then others and that is ok. Show us a piece of your portable life however small it may feel. We all started with one step and your step may be what another member need to see/hear today to take theirs.
Where is Home?
Home can mean so many different things. We’d likely assume home is where we were born - either the country or city. But home can be a physical space like a home or a rented apartment. It can be a State/City or a region where you grew up. It can also be a person or a community that gives you that feeling. It’s possible home remains one thing for the your entire life but it’s also possible that it’s changed over time, as you grow and as you travel. When someone asks you where is home - what do you answer? And if you’d answer it and it didn’t resonate anymore - where else could home be?
How important is your Physical environment?
Where we live and where we work set the baseline for energy, attention, and mood. Default spaces train habits you never chose. Designed spaces return energy. If your home or desk was picked by convenience, it still shapes how you think and move. Small choices add up: light and noise, a door that closes, a view, a short walk to green space, a chair that fits the body, and the distance to people and errands. We live in a world with many ways to live and work. Choose what serves you and reject what does not. Portable Life: “We carry home within us. Keep what matters. Let the rest go.” Are you living in a place that represents you? Are you working in a space that lights you up?
Dual Citizenship: Smart or Overkill?
There’s a lot of buzz about “global citizenship.” Helpful for some… or a bit extreme? Curious where you stand. Quick check-in: ✅ I have a second citizenship/passport 🔍 I’ve researched it / considering it ✋ Not for me (at least for now)
If you could live in any city for 1 month, where would you live?
If all the stars were aligned and you had the freedom to live anywhere for a month, where would you go? Drop the city and one line why. (Optional: the month/season.)
