All on plastic
I showed up in Spain with $4 EUR coins - left over from last year, and as I’m about to close out this season, I managed to do all 3 months without a trip to the ATM.
The smallest amount I spent was in Lead for my pencil for a $1.15. The lady did cringe when I said « Tarjeta » but still indulged me :)
It’s interesting in that while in Spain, it’s all plastic, when in Mexico it’s all cash 💰.
