Once upon a time, Trev the Frog lived in the Money Pond thinking, “If I just hop harder, everything will sort itself out.” Spoiler alert: it didn’t.
Around him were many other frogs earning good bugs, doing all the “right” things… yet still slipping on muddy lily pads, being crazy stressed or worried all the time, confused about where their money actually goes and quietly panicking every time they looked at the pond water (aka their bank account).
I watched this happen for years - both in my own life and working in finance and property. Trev noticed something important: the frogs weren’t lazy, they were not dumb, and they were not reckless. They were just unsupervised. They had no map. No system. Just vibes, and too much guilt spending and a lot of frantic hopping. (or should that read S-hopping?)
So instead of yelling “hop better!”, we built stepping stones. Calm ones. Simple ones. Stones that don't disappear when life gets busy.
Now Trev’s job is pretty simple: help frogs stop splashing, start landing, and realise they don’t need to drain the pond or give up snacks to get ahead. If money has ever felt harder than it should… Trev reckons you’re not broken, you just need a better pond plan 🐸💚 and a little bit of confidence to take the first 'stepping stone' step.
So we'd love to know - what is your money story?
