A place for discussion on everything Guinea pig related— from adopting, to rehoming, to breeding, to rescues, to rainbow bridge compassion — with shared guidance from trustworthy, up-to-date, validated and cited resources. … so named in memory and tribute to THE sassiest, most unconventional, daddy-loving, full-body HOT PINK fauxhawk sporting, formerly long haired Peruvian/Sheba rescue pigs I never knew I wouldn’t be able to live without, Our dearly beloved and Insatiably missed “Pinkaletta” 💗 … who went by many other variations of which, including “Pinky”, “Miss Piggy”, and my hubbys now infamous “Little ONE”…. She was undoubtedly the Queen Bee amongst the brood that would eventually come, and held her status LOUDLY and prominently. She would perch herself “above” the floor-bound rest of the herd and just kind of “observe” them below. It became somewhat of a side joke that she was “watching over her peasants” … which is where the slightly sarcastic namesake of this group stems from.
