Ok Rob. Well, I played this morning. I’m the one in the blue shorts & gray T-shirt playing with Haley, my 21 year old daughter (in the tennis dress). This is day 1 of training for me. I signed up for "THE KITCHEN - KANSAS CITY" tournament on August 9th. My daughter (21) and I (56) will play mixed. Today, we played at Pace Pickleball in Katy, TX. To put it into context, this was our last match of the day and the 4th game that the 4 of us played. I don't know how much feedback you can give from this game. It was the shortest game we played, and the points didn't last long. I'd love to hear any feedback. Thanks, Mike. By the way, the court was wired up with PB's vision. They advertise that the first 15 minutes of video is free. However, I found out it cost $2.50 to view it. lol Let's see if I can do this right. Big Props to Jack - First Vid Analysis here
In this video, I provide an analysis of Jack's recent pickleball match, highlighting both his strengths and areas for improvement. I appreciate Jack's bravery in sharing a video where he faced challenges, as it offers valuable insights for growth. I focus on key techniques like the topspin roll and the importance of patience during play. I encourage Jack to work on taking more balls out of the air and to be mindful of his shot selection. Please take note of these points for your next practice!

Vid Analysis - Who is brave?
Welcome to our newest members. I am going to record video analysis for the first three members that share a playing video of themselves. Please share them here!
Speeding up off the bounce
The big thing I notice when I play with top pros vs low level pros is decision making. And if you watch pro pickleball on stream, you will notice that speed ups off the bounce are relatively infrequent. At lower levels, they are very frequent. Speeding up off the bounce from the kitchen line is low percentage typically. That can fluctuate based on disguise, etc, but generally speaking hitting a ball below the net is going to be lower percentage than hitting a ball above the net, out of the air. Stay patient my friends. Play like the top pros, not the lower level pros.
