[Rob's Intro Post] Welcome to the Lab!
Hey everyone, it's Rob Nunnery with Nunnery's Pickleball Lab. I'm excited to share my experience as a pro pickleball player and create a community where we can all improve our game together. I'll be providing instructional content, video analysis, live Q&A sessions, and even hosting special guests. Join us, introduce yourself, and let's grow the sport of pickleball together! Please introduce yourself in a new post and include: Your name, Your rating (optional), Your favorite shot, And what you need to improve to take your game to the next level. Any additional details of what you are most excited about! I'll go first. Rob Nunnery Pro Player Holding a forehand flick off the bounce (when it works!) The list of what I need to improve is long and they include, two handed bh dink, better weapons when playing on the left (can be too conservative), two handed bh return (rely too heavily on slice) and stretching, recovery and taking care of my body as best as I can! I'm super excited to be a part of this community and even more excited to see how we can grow the sport collectively. Cheers! Rob

Ok Rob. Well, I played this morning. I’m the one in the blue shorts & gray T-shirt playing with Haley, my 21 year old daughter (in the tennis dress). This is day 1 of training for me. I signed up for "THE KITCHEN - KANSAS CITY" tournament on August 9th. My daughter (21) and I (56) will play mixed. Today, we played at Pace Pickleball in Katy, TX. To put it into context, this was our last match of the day and the 4th game that the 4 of us played. I don't know how much feedback you can give from this game. It was the shortest game we played, and the points didn't last long. I'd love to hear any feedback. Thanks, Mike. By the way, the court was wired up with PB's vision. They advertise that the first 15 minutes of video is free. However, I found out it cost $2.50 to view it. lol Let's see if I can do this right. Hello from Savannah, GA
Zach Taylor Avid Pickleballer Favorite shot is an off-speed flick from the bounce between the opposing team and them watching it float by slowly in disbelief. Always room for improvement in shots, footwork and stamina. Need improvement on staying a threat in rallies when a partner is being targeted. Thanks for the resource Rob!
Hello!
I joined this group to build my personal community of supportive pickleball peeps. I recently started playing at the 4.0 level in tournaments and have held my own, but no medals yet. Most of my pickleball attention is given to being a referee, as I travel to ref the pros as well as help out with local amateur tournaments. Being so close to the pros on court has changed my perspective from worrying less about my “shots” - to focusing more on my footwork and court positioning. Thanks for letting me join your community!
Big Props to Jack - First Vid Analysis here
In this video, I provide an analysis of Jack's recent pickleball match, highlighting both his strengths and areas for improvement. I appreciate Jack's bravery in sharing a video where he faced challenges, as it offers valuable insights for growth. I focus on key techniques like the topspin roll and the importance of patience during play. I encourage Jack to work on taking more balls out of the air and to be mindful of his shot selection. Please take note of these points for your next practice!
