Hello!
Hi! I’m a 4.0+ player (usually) from Atlanta. I’ve been looking to establish a routine to be more intentional about improving parts of my game and becoming more consistent in my play. Sometimes I can just tear it up out there, and other days it feels like I just started learning pickleball. I’m always amazed at the steady-eddy players that just seem to anticipate my next move every time they are on the other side of the net - I want to be them. I also want to be the player that seems to make their partner better. Targeted drills and evolving my strategy accumen to better change some things up mid-game when I’m in a rut are part of my endless list for improvement. 🫠
Meet Rishabh! New Community Manager
I wanted to introduce the community to Rishabh. I met Rishabh in Mumbai and we have kept in touch. He's very passionate about pickleball, growing the sport, teaching it and improving himself. He runs an exercise studio in India when he's not playing or teaching pickle! Rishabh is going to be a moderator and community manager for the group as well as great accountability for me to stay on track. You'll start to see a lot more of him in the coming days as we ramp this up. Look forward to getting this cooking and really appreciate everyone that is here this early. Cheers, Rob
Hello!
I joined this group to build my personal community of supportive pickleball peeps. I recently started playing at the 4.0 level in tournaments and have held my own, but no medals yet. Most of my pickleball attention is given to being a referee, as I travel to ref the pros as well as help out with local amateur tournaments. Being so close to the pros on court has changed my perspective from worrying less about my “shots” - to focusing more on my footwork and court positioning. Thanks for letting me join your community!
Hello from Savannah, GA
Zach Taylor Avid Pickleballer Favorite shot is an off-speed flick from the bounce between the opposing team and them watching it float by slowly in disbelief. Always room for improvement in shots, footwork and stamina. Need improvement on staying a threat in rallies when a partner is being targeted. Thanks for the resource Rob!

The list of what I need to improve is long and they include, two handed bh dink, better weapons when playing on the left (can be too conservative), two handed bh return (rely too heavily on slice) and stretching, recovery and taking care of my body as best as I can! I'm super excited to be a part of this community and even more excited to see how we can grow the sport collectively. Cheers! Rob
