PiaNOpain: Piano Technique & Pedagogy Workshops for sustainable and tension-free playing
Many pianists are told to just practice slowly, build stamina by powering through, practice in rhythms, or gradually put the metronome faster in order to make progress. However, the biomechanics of piano playing are much more nuanced than this. Alignment and coordination can be taught and incorporated into one's technique, with transformative results. Speed then becomes a byproduct of comfort, not effort.
โฐ๐๐ FIRST LIVE WORKSHOP: JULY 18
Join and learn how to play and teach piano in a biomechanically-informed way, as I will be answering your questions on piano technique, lesson structure, and repertoire. The goal is sustainable and effortless playing. In weekly live sessions, I will offer specialised guidance for both piano students and teachers.
